Italy Wedding Photographer in Liguria, Tuscany and Italian Lakes
Born in Germany, I discovered my passion for capturing moments at an early age. At 16, my first photographs were published in a Belgian newspaper. By 18, I was photographing Angela Merkel in her Bonn office for an interview. My journey as a photojournalist in Germany gave me the honor of photographing numerous politicians and public figures, including Bill Clinton, Bono from U2, Helmut Kohl, Massimo d’Alema, and many more.
A few years later, I relocated to Italy for love – drawn by the lifestyle, the sunshine, and a slower, more intentional way of living. One day, a friend asked me to photograph his brother’s wedding, and that’s when everything changed.
When I delivered the photos and saw the couple’s reaction, I realized something important: wedding photography isn’t just about making things look beautiful – it’s about preserving moments that truly matter. Watching them laugh, cry, and relive their day through those images made me understand how powerful these memories are. They’re not just for today, but for all the years to come.
That’s when I truly felt the magic of this work. And from that moment on, everything was different.
When I’m not traveling and capturing weddings, you’ll find me spending time with my two daughters, playing tennis, or enjoying the sunshine by the sea. I also love hiking in nature and getting lost in a good book – those quiet moments fuel my creativity and keep me grounded.

At the time it was about the PHOTO – today it’s about the STORY
As a photojournalist, it was about the single shot – as a wedding photographer, it’s about the story. The story of an extraordinary and unique day. With all these details, emotions, candid shots and amazing portraits. How often does it happen in life to invite friends and families, take them to a beautiful place and celebrate a big party all together?
As a wedding photographer in Italy, my photos have been published in numerous national and international blogs, newspapers and magazines and many of my photos have received international awards. German television ZDF came to Italy to shoot a documentary about me, but the biggest award is my numerous and consistently positive reviews from my clients over the past 16 years.
