Hello, I’m Julian.
I’m a destination wedding photographer in Tuscany, Portofino, the Italian Lakes, Florence, the French Riviera, the Amalfi Coast, and wherever in the world people come together to celebrate their love.
I photograph weddings for couples who value genuine emotions, meaningful moments, and beautiful portraits that never feel forced.
For over 16 years, I’ve documented celebrations across Italy and around the world, creating photographs that feel honest, emotional, and alive. My approach is documentary at heart: observing rather than directing, capturing moments as they naturally unfold.
What many couples remember most is not only the photographs, but the experience itself. A wedding day can be emotional, unpredictable, and wonderfully chaotic. My role is to bring a calm and reassuring presence, helping everyone feel comfortable while quietly documenting the story as it happens.
Fluent in English, German, and Italian, I easily connect with international couples and their guests. Over the years, my work has been featured and published worldwide in renowned publications such as ELLE, Style Me Pretty, and many other international wedding and lifestyle magazines. My journey as a wedding photographer was also the subject of a documentary by German television broadcaster ZDF.
