Chianti Wedding Castello di Spaltenna Tuscany

Today, we found ourselves once again at the stunning Castello di Spaltenna, right in the heart of the Chianti region in Tuscany. The Castello exudes timeless elegance, and the adjoining church, Pieve di Santa Maria a Spaltenna, is almost a thousand years old – first mentioned in the records of the Coltibuono Abbey in 1030. History breathes through every stone here.

Stephanie and Kevin went all out, bringing their closest friends and family members from Michigan to this picturesque corner of Italy to celebrate their dream wedding. Castello di Spaltenna, a five-star hotel in Gaiole in Chianti, offers not only luxury and charm but also a spa and swimming pools, all surrounded by the breathtaking Siena countryside.

The entire wedding was planned down to the smallest detail by Federica and her assistant Alessia from The Italian Wedding Event – as always, perfectly and with so much passion.

Kevin has German roots (just like me!) and has been living in the US for many years. Even on his wedding day, he didn’t skip his morning workout – now that’s dedication! This only made the all-night celebration even more carefree. It was an unforgettable day filled with laughter, love, and countless beautiful moments.
