Alessandra and Giovanni – Castello Brown Wedding Portofino
Today we are close to where I live: in Liguria – it’s a region of north-western Italy, crossed by the Alps and the Apennines mountains chains and the region is bordered by France (Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur) to the west, Piedmont to the north, and Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany to the east. It lies on the Ligurian Sea. Thank you, Wikipedia.
Anyway, here we are in beautiful Portofino – an Italian fishing village and holiday resort famous for its picturesque harbour and historical association with celebrity and artistic visitors. The town is clustered around its small harbour and is known for the colourfully painted buildings that line the shore. Thank you again, Wikipedia ;-)
Alessandra and Giovanni chose this incredibly beautiful little town to celebrate their wedding, and as Giovanni is originally from Brazil, you can imagine how much fun we had with all the guests from Latin America.
They both celebrated their wedding at Castello Brown which is a house museum located high above the harbour of Portofino:
