Villa del Balbianello Lake Como

Today it’s windy on Lake Como, we are at beautiful Villa del Balbianello. It’s a villa in the comune of Lenno (province of Como), in the north of the Lombardy, overlooking Lake Como. The villa is famous for its elaborate terraced gardens.

In November 2018, Indian movie star and Bollywood’s famous couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s wedding took place at the villa. Also, a number of feature films have used the villa for location shooting, including A Month by the Lake, His Demise starring Paul Zukowski, Casino Royale. The villa was also used for the lake retreat scenes in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, with computer-generated imagery used in place of the building’s true exterior.
